Anna Suter and I faced the challenge of trying to explain women's rights and gender equality to a young and diverse audience without excluding or shaming the male gender but also showing the alarming facts of the past and present. That’s why we chose a narrative that is based in the future.
As part of my studies, this animated explainer video was created in October 2022 in collaboration with Amnesty International. Today it is used for Amnestys human rights workshops with children and teenagers between 10 and 16 years.

The year is 2062: The sexes have equal rights, everyone can vote and freely shape their own future. And that's the way it's always been. Or has it not?
